Man dies after quad bike crash in Hartlepool

A MAN has died following a collision this afternoon.

The man was involved in a collision in Raby Road, Hartlepool after 3pm today.

He was riding a green quad bike at the time of the crash and was travelling from the direction of the junction with Hart Lane towards the junction with Chatham Road.

Officers from Cleveland Police attended the scene at 3.19pm.

They have issued an popularity for witnesses to come forward. 

A spokesperson said: ” A man has sadly died following a road traffic incident in Raby Road, Hartlepool, this afternoon. Police attended at 3.19pm today and keep at the scene.

“The man who died was the driver of a green quad bike and was travelling on Raby Road, from the direction of the junction with Hart Lane, towards the junction with Chatham Road.

“Officers investigating are alluring for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage or CCTV, and hasn’t already shared this with police, to contact them on 101, reference 002052.”
