Most people at the gym will tell you that they want to build lean muscle and burn fat at the same time. But most people don’t really know how to do that. 1. Do Total body resistance band workouts

Okay, if you’re ever going to lose fat and keep it off permanently, you must do total body strength training. Instead of working 1 body part at a time, aim all of them 3 times per week with resistance bands. It’s very simple to execute an exercise where majority of your muscle groups are involved. This kind of training will burn fat and build muscle faster than working out 1 or 2 body part at a time. Plus you’ll crank up your metabolism doing this kind of workout. Not to mention that  strength training with resistance bands is a good way to add lean muscle (not bulk) while burning fat.

2. High intensity interval training with resistance bands

This exercise routine is a great way to burn fat in a short period of time. Unlike “same speed” cardio, interval training is short, but intense workouts that will force your body to burn some serious fat in a short time. High intensity intervals be make up of consistently doing high and low intensity exercises that will shock your body into burning more fat.

It’s really simple. You can do 2 minutes of high intensity lunges with Resistance bands, and then slow it down and jog in place for 1 minute. you’ll want to add a 5 minute warm-up of course but you get the point. This exercise is what will help raise your metabolism while you build lean muscle and burn fat.  Do high intensity interval training with the bands no more than 2-3 times a week.

3. satisfy your muscle and starve your fat

Eating the right foods will provide your body the necessary nutrients that it needs to lose fat and build muscle. Many people avoid the nutrition part and go right to working out, but proper nutrition is as important if not more than the actual workout itself. Foods such as healthy fats, lean protein, and fiber high items will supply your body with what it needs to burn fat and build muscle. Avoid skipping proper nutrition like most people and you’ll burn fat and gain muscle quickly.
